A HUGE shout-out to the high school students who performed in today's showing of The Milagro Beanfield War, the play! We are so proud of our students and the work they have put in to perform this two-hour production, where they are each a number of different characters. Well done, everyone!
Good morning,
We are excited to announce that tomorrow's special performance of the Milagro Beanfield War, a play starring many of our talented high school students, will be open to MS/HS families to come and enjoy. The performance will begin at 8:30 am in the auxiliary gym.
To attend, please bring a valid ID to check in through the front office. This was originally scheduled to be a student-only event, but we are able to open it to MS/HS families because of a change in attendance from another school. We hope to see you there!

This week in art, students learned about adobe architecture and the lines and shapes found in many adobe buildings. We looked at pictures of local buildings around San Luis, Costilla County, and in northern New Mexico, and students drew adobe building landscapes using the lines and shapes we've been studying. 2nd and 3rd grade were also able to use classroom supplies to try and recreate an adobe-style building in groups for a fun STEAM project!
Tomorrow we will try our hands at mixing up our own adobe and making bricks. Students loved seeing pictures of places they see every day in our community, and many shared stories about the adobe buildings on their own family properties! Please enjoy a small peek into how talented our students are!
