Centennial School Supply List for 2023-2024 School Year
It's hard to believe it is that time of year already, but it is time to prepare for back to school!
Registration for the 2023-24 School Year is just two weeks away. Come to the school between 4:00-7:00 pm on the appropriate day to complete your annual paperwork and register for classes:
Monday, July 24: Junior and Seniors
Tuesday, July 25: 6th-10th Grade Students
Wednesday, July 26: Elementary Students, Grades K-5

Centennial athletes: Sports physicals are being offered at Centennial on Tuesday, August 8, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. If you plan to play sports this year (6th grade-high school), please come by and complete your sports physical by Wiley Chiropractic during this time. A representative from Valley Soulz will be here as well. Please see attached flyer for more information. The first day of official practice for High School Fall sports --Cross Country, Volleyball, Football-- is August 7! See you then!

We are now lifting the lockout restriction. After consultation with the Sherriff's department, the administration has determined we can return to normal school operations. As a reminder, we have a regular school day today until 2:30p when we will release students early for the last day of school. The checkout process begins at 2:00 for students. School is dismissed and buses run at 2:30.
Centennial has decided to go in to lock out mode as a precautionary measure. The Costilla County Sheriff's Department notified administration of an issue in the community. We have determined to go into a lock out mode to restrict all activity in and out of the building while the Sheriffs department addresses the concern. We will update the school community when the lockout is lifted. Until that time, there will be no activity in or out of the building.

The Centennial Spring Program this year will be an Art walk of student artwork with music provided by Centennial High School musicians. Come out and see your child's art on display and enjoy a light refreshment while you listen to the talent of our young musicians. This special evening will be Monday, May 15 from 6:00-7:00 pm.
