High School’s end of the year field trip is under way at Elitch’s in Denver!
The High School Life Skills class at the Entrepreneurship Expo at Adams State. Laila Garcia and Temo De La Torre Jr won $200 for their Shark Tank proposal for their Cultural Kick-Off. The goal is to host events at the Cultural Heritage Center with events and providing concessions for these events. They stood in front of all of the districts and three judges and competed against several other awesome business proposals to win the $200! Super proud of them!

The school cancelation due to the power outages put us under our required hours for school. We will provide two options to recover this school time.
The first option is to join the HS field trip tomorrow. Teachers will have planned lessons to accompany the field trip to recover the lost instructional time.
For students unable to attend the field trip, we have Friday school from 8:00a-12:00p tomorrow. Any student not attending tomorrow's field trip should attend Friday school to recover this lost instructional time. Thank you!

The Academic Awards is rescheduled for Monday, May 13 at 6:00p in the Main gym. This will be followed by Senior Night for the Graduating Class of 2024 at 7:30p in the library. We look forward to celebrating these academic successes with you.

Due to the ongoing Power Outage, we will reschedule tonight's academics awards for another evening. The most recent estimate from Xcel for power to be restored is 8:15 PM. Hopefully, we will have power before then so the food in everyone's refrigerators and freezers does not go bad. Keep safe in this wind, and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Excel energy believes that power should be back by 10:15; however, we want to ensure our students have a fully functioning building when they arrive at school. With that in mind, the Centennial Board of Education designates a"Sun" day today to celebrate the incredible work by our teachers and school staff everyday. There will be no school today. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Good morning. The High school athletic banquet is scheduled for May 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the Centennial Commons. Please come out and support your high school athlete as they are recognized for their participation and accomplishments in athletics. It is a potluck. Centennial will provide the posole.
