Centennial High School students attend SLV Spring Career Fair 2024

On March 14, 2024, 38 Centennial High School students and four teachers attended the SLV Spring Career Fair held at Plachy Hall, ASU, Alamosa. 

The event, organized by SLV Workforce, featured various workforces and organizations from the San Luis Valley, giving students a firsthand look at the different career opportunities available in the valley.

The fair allowed students to explore various career paths, from healthcare and education to agriculture and technology. 

Representatives from local businesses and organizations were on hand to answer questions and provide information about their respective fields.

In addition to exploring potential career options, students also had the opportunity to learn about different scholarships available to help them achieve their university dreams. 

With the rising cost of higher education, these scholarships can be a crucial resource for students looking to further their education.
